GOVERNOR FRENCH ACADEMY

1846년에서 1853년까지 일리노이 주지사를 역임한 Augustus French의 이름을 따온 Governor French Academy는 일리노이주의 Belleville에 위치해있다. 시카고에서 5시간 떨어져있으며 St. Louis에서 30분 떨어져있다. 초등학교부터 12학년까지 가르치며 College Preparatory School이다. 'Prepare each student to get into college , Prepare each student to stay in and graduate college'라는 학교의 방침에 따라 학교는 학생 개개인의 학생개개인의 특성에 맞는 학구적인 수업을 진행하고 대학진학을 도모하고 있다. 1983년 설립된 Governor French Academy는 학생의 특성과 목표에 맞는 진학상담과 다양한 대학 설명회 참석을 도모하고Calculus /Statistics/ Biology/Chemistry/Physics등에 AP프로그램을 진행하며 MIT, Harvard를 포함, 졸업생 100% 대학에 진학하고 있다.
